NBIC Prep School Details
School Purpose:
To prepare the attendee to successfully take the National Board Commissioned Inspector’s Examination.
Who should attend this school?
This school is designed for those persons wishing to become a National Board Commissioned Inspector in the employ of a Jurisdiction, An Authorized Inspection Agency or an Owner User Inspection Agency. Our pass fail ratio is very high.
School Curriculum:
The open and relaxed classroom atmosphere of this two week school includes daily instruction and homework in the following subjects to help the student understand all aspects of the National Board Examination:
A National Board Inspection Code (NBIC)
1) Administrative Requirements
2) In-service Inspection Requirements
3) Repair and Alteration Requirements
4) Commissioned Inspector’s Duties and Responsibilities
5) Quality Control Program Requirements
6) National Board Terminology
B ASME Code
1) Calculations for:
a. ASME Code Section I
b. ASME Code Section IV
c. ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1
d. ASME B31.1
2) Nondestructive Examination Requirements
3) Welding Requirements
4) ASME Terminology
Daily quizzes will be administered to enable each attendee to judge their progress. Homework will be assigned each day and a 2 hour minimum nightly study session is available where the attendee can receive personal assistance with any problem areas. A sample examination will be given the last week of the school, graded and discussed.

The School tuition is $2750.00 per attendee.

School Registration, Payment, and confirmation:
School size is limited to twenty (20) attendees, early registration is highly recommended. The School Registration Form and payment should be received thirty (30) days prior to the start of the school.
School payment in US Currency, must accompany the School Registration Form. Payment must be made by credit card, company check, personal check, cashiers check, or money order made payable to Nosibor Consulting and Training Services. Confirmation of School registration will be sent via e-mail (if provided) or by regular mail upon payment confirmation.
National Board Commission Inspector’s Examination:
Each attendee is required to individually register in their local Jurisdiction to take the National Board Commissioned Inspector’s Examination. Not all Jurisdictions will give the Examination and they must have 30 days notification so they can order the examinations and make the necessary arrangements.
Cancellation:
Nosibor Consulting and Training Services reserve the right to cancel the school at our discretion.
Attendee cancellation must be received thirty (30) days prior to the start of the school to ensure a full refund. Cancellation received after this date will be subject to a 15% service charge. Substitution of one attendee for another may be permitted by calling 404-983-2666.
